WESTVILLE | Purdue University North Central set a new enrollment record with 4,614 students enrolled this fall, the university announced.
The figure, which includes 2,844 full-time students, tops the fall 2009 enrollment by 3 percent. Students are enrolled in a record 48,585 credit hours, an increase of 4 percent over last fall.
PNC - Porter County in Valparaiso enrolled 607 students.
There are 625 students taking courses through the dual credit program, which allows high school students to earn both high school and Purdue credits while taking classes in their high school during the regular school day.
