LAPORTE | The Inside Story of the LaPorte County Court House will be presented by Fern Eddy Schultz, La Porte County historian at 1 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room of the LaPorte County Historical Society Museum.
Among the notable historical items of interest are the stained glass windows, the skylight and more. This is an opportunity to discover the historically significant items within this building that are not ordinarily seen by the visitor. The program is free; however, regular museum admission fees will apply. The courthouse is included in the Downtown La Porte Historic District on the National Register of Historical Places. It was so designated Sept. 15, 1983.
