Poochapalooza Halloween Dog Social

  • October 23rd
  • Creek Ridge County Park
  • 6:00 p.m.
  • FREE

Dress up your dog and join us at Creek Ridge County Park. No leash Bark Park for our Halloween Dog Social. FREE, Call 219.325.8315 to register at least one week in advance. Judging categories will be best homemade costume, scariest, best animal couple, best owner/pet combination and many more. Your pet will receive a trick-or-treat. Min. 5 dogs

Stroller, Baby, and You

  • FREE
  • 10– 11 am at Luhr Park
  • Toddlers – Pre-School age

Fun filled programs with other toddlers and preschoolers. Enjoy music, dance with your kids, giggle, and storytelling, take a hike (weather permitting) and just have Fun. Call 219-325-8315 to pre-register one week in advance & assure a spot.

Spa Day at the Park

  • Saturday, October 27th
  • Red Mill County Park – Pat Smith Hall
  • 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon
  • FREE - First 50 will receive a goodie bag.

Calming the mind and pampering the body are what is in store for those who come. “Spa Day in the Park” will have information and some sample services and/or products including some things like; aromatherapy, facials, manicures, messages, and make at-home spa treatments. Try a new color, test some new products, learn who is in the community, and discover new ways on how to pamper yourself. Along with information on important health, wellness, and relaxation matters will be available.

A variety of booths will offer participants information, sample services, and fun projects to make and take home. By the end of the event, you should know a bit more, stress a bit less, and feel a whole lot better. The first 50 will receive a goodie bag full of lots of great stuff. The only thing missing is you!

Senior Lifestyles

Join the 55+ Club, a social club designed specifically for adults ages 55 and older. Learn and explore various types of nature at its best in the county parks. Come relax, enjoy nature, & have coffee on the Parks with your new friends.

Parent and Child Discovery Days

  • 6-7:15 pm Luhr Park
  • Ages 3-8
  • $5.00 A Child / Per Program

An adult is required to participate. The program includes arts & crafts, games, snack, and more. All activities are related to the program topic. Payment & Pre-registration at least one week in advance required to assure a spot.
