LAPORTE | A LaPorte man could face time in jail on allegations he threatened neighbors with a barbecue fork.
Mark Roberts, Jr., 26, was arraigned Friday in LaPorte Circuit Court on Class D felony intimidation and other counts.
According to court documents, Roberts on Tuesday was seen by neighbors striking his girlfriend at his home on Grove Street and was told to stop. Roberts allegedly went over to the house next door and after a physical altercation returned home and came back out with a large kitchen knife and barbecue fork.
Police said he threatened to stab two of the people he was scuffling with. He could face at least a six-month to three-year sentence.
