WESTVILLE | Travel Notes from the Field, a collection of paintings by Feargal Doyle, will be presented from Monday throught May 31 as part of the Purdue University North Central Odyssey Arts and Cultural Events Series.
It will be displayed in the PNC Library-Student-Faulty Building student lounge, Room 062. Building hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The Library-Student-Faculty Building is closed on Sundays.
The exhibits includes 22 paintings in various mediums, including watercolor, wax crayon, china ink, oil and acrylic. Most pieces are for sale.
Originally from Ireland, Doyle now lives and works in New York. He moved to New York in 2012 via Thailand, where he and his family had spent two years on a life-transforming adventure. He turned to painting as his full-time occupation and passion then.
He has exhibited in both Ireland and in New York.
