LAPORTE | The fourth bank robbery since November has occurred in LaPorte.
The latest occurred Thursday at 1st Source Bank on Boyd Boulevard on the city's east side.
According to police, a man about 12:30 p.m. handed a note to a teller demanding money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber indicated he had a gun, but did not display a weapon, police said.
LaPorte Police Chief of Detectives Tom Thate said a picture of the suspect has been obtained from surveillance video of the robbery, but there were no leads on who the robber might be.
Two suspects have been charged with robberies Feb. 19 at 1st Trust Credit Union at 402 J St. and the Dec. 27 hold up of Fifth Third Bank in the 800 block of Monroe Street.
