LAPORTE | Blake Vissing defiantly believes that he goes the extra mile to give exceptional customer service.
The employee at Shoreline Brewery & Restaurant enjoys being able to interact with people on a daily basis and making sure their experience is a good one.
Because he works hard, he was awarded with Visit Michigan City LaPorte Convention & Visitors Bureau monthly Recognition of Service Excellence (R.O.S.E.) Award for the month of June.
This is what the guest said about the exceptional service that was provided. “We were in town for the Midwest Tool Collector’s meeting and enjoyed lunch at Shoreline. Blake was friendly, outgoing and very knowledgeable about their beers and menu. He provided excellent service and made our lunch experience special. He’s definitely an asset to the restaurant ant the community.”
“I have been trying to get a R.O.S.E Award certificate on the Shoreline Wall of Fame for a long time and I am very excited to receive this honor,” Vissing said “If I discover that people are from out of town I always encourage them to be sure to visit Washington Park, the zoo, the beach, the lighthouse or attend one of our local festivals because I believe that the lakefront is our greatest asset.”
For winning the R.O.S.E. Award, Vissing received a framed certificate and a rose boutonniere with a $100 bill folded inside. He will be honored at the yearly R.O.S.E. Luncheon, held each spring along with Porter County, and will be nominated for the Indiana Hoosier Hospitality Award.
