LAPORTE | La Porte County Extension Homemakers have compiled a cookbook to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Indiana Extension Homemakers organization.

These tried and true recipes have been submitted by current Extension Homemakers and they, in turn, have submitted recipes from their mothers and grandmothers who were past members of clubs here in La Porte County. The style is a 3-ring binder notebook that includes a stand to prop the book up for easier viewing.

The cookbook is available for purchase at the La Porte County Extension office located at 2857 W. State Road 2, Suite A, La Porte next to the animal shelter at a cost of $10. They would make great Christmas gifts!

Please call the Extension Office at (219) 324-9407 for more information and to inquire about joining an Extension Homemaker club.
