Two people were arrested after police said they caused an alcohol-related disturbance with employees at the McDonald's in Westville.
Kaitlin Westlund, 19, of Michigan City was arrested and charged with underage drinking and public intoxication, and Shawn Foerg, 22, of Westville was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
LaPorte County police were called about 7:30 a.m. Sunday because the two people in a vehicle together were causing problems in the drive-thru lane.
At one point, police said Westlund went inside and confronted the employees.
A delay was put on their order to give officers enough time to arrive before they could leave, police said.
What triggered the disturbance was not revealed.
