WESTVILLE | A Columbia City woman was arrested Saturday after being caught allegedly trying to traffic contraband to an inmate at Westville Correctional Facility, officials said.

Ashley Reavis, 27, was arrested and charged with trafficking as a class C felony, according to an Indiana Department of Correction news release.

Reavis was visiting 29-year-old inmate Blake Settles when officers checking her in found the contraband.

Settles, of Fort Wayne, is serving multiple felony sentences including dealing, possession of a look-alike substance and escape.

Reavis was booked into the LaPorte County Jail.
