MICHIGAN CITY | Join the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s and unite in a movement to reclaim the future for millions. Together we can raise awareness and funds to enhance Alzheimer’s care and support and advance critical research.

A walk will be Sunday Oct. 6 at Washington Park in Michigan City. Registration starts at 12:30 p.m. and the opening ceremony starts at 1:30 p.m.

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s™ is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.

Alzheimer’s disease is the largest underfunded, public-health threat facing our nation today, and it’s only growing. Today, more than half of all Americans know someone with Alzheimer’s. Soon, no one will be left untouched. Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States, and the only cause of death among the top 10 that cannot be prevented, cured or even stopped.

You can register your team today by visiting or by calling the Alzheimer’s Association 24/7 Helpline at 800-272-3900 or Louise Thompson at 219-464-9600 or at
