Cullars, manager of William B’s Restaurant at Blue Chip Casino Hotel & Spa in Michigan City, was named this week the winner of the LaPorte County Convention and Visitors Bureau’s monthly Recognition of Service Excellence (R.O.S.E.) Award for the month of March.
He was nominated for going out of his way to accommodate the needs of a visiting family with small children who wanted to eat at William B’s, but were unable to be seated due to the children being under age. Patrick made sure they were seated in another restaurant, given great service and even provided a birthday cake.
“This is the best job in the world and I love coming to work,” said Cullars. “My staff is wonderful and I could not do my job without them.
The R.O.S.E. Award is given to employees at LaPorte County businesses, who go above and beyond in their service to customers. Customers or managers nominate employees who they feel have given exemplary customer service.
Winners receive a framed certificate, a rose corsage with a $100 bill folded inside, a seat at the annual R.O.S.E. Luncheon held by the LaPorte and Porter County tourism bureau’s, and nomination for the Lieutenant Governor’s annual Hoosier Hospitality Award.
