MICHIGAN CITY | A police investigation into the alleged sale of narcotics out of a Michigan City Elston Street residence and a neighborhood store led to the arrests this week of four men. 

Arrested were Willie Lee Martin Sr., 68; Willie Lee Martin Jr, 30; and Duane Altman, 24, all of the 2100 block of Elston Street, and Robert Earl Martin Sr., 39, of the 400 block of Willard Avenue.

Investigators said they found multiple controlled narcotics purchases were made at both the residence in the 2100 block of Elston Avenue and the store in the 400 block of Willard Avenue.

Authorities said Willie Lee Martin Sr. was charged with two counts of dealing a controlled substance; Robert Earl Martin Sr. was charged with two counts of dealing a controlled substance and two counts of dealing marijuana; Willie Lee Martin Jr. was charged with possession of marijuana and Altman was charged with dealing a controlled substance, all in connection with the investigation.
