MICHIGAN CITY | Two sexual assaults were reported this week less than a mile apart in Michigan City, police said.
The first assault happened at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday near Lafayette Street and Barker Avenue, police said. The second sexual assault happened at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday on Wabash Street and Eleventh Street.
Police did not release any other details about the assaults. In Tuesday's assault, there were two suspects. One suspect is 5 feet 10 inches tall, in his late 20s and has hair styled in short braids. The second suspect is about 5 feet and 8 inches tall.
Police did not release any information about the suspect in Wednesday's assault.
Police did not say if the two sexual assaults are related.
