MICHIGAN CITY | Best Buddies Pet Pantry is an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit that provides free pet food to families in need.

The pantry distributes over 4,000 pounds of pet food each month to family pets in need.

Monthly distribution is the third Tuesday of every month at Brandt's Old Fashion Emporium, 309 W. US Hwy 12, Michigan City.

Pet food is also available at the Salvation Army in LaPorte, 3542 Monroe St.

Requirements include: must be over 21 years old, a resident of LaPorte County, provide valid IN Drivers License/State ID and proof of need (Unemployment, Disability, Social Security, SSI Statement). Donations accepted at Brandt's, Big R Store and Brown Mackie College.
