MICHIGAN CITY | Three people have been charged in connection with the Sept. 13 shooting death of a Michigan City teen.
Jamar Pasha, 20, John Devon Isbell, 17, and Krystal Bahus, 24, all of Michigan City, were charged in LaPorte Superior Court No. 1 with murder, felony murder, robbery and criminal gang activity.
According to police, officers were called around 10 p.m. to a report of shots fired in the 1200 block of E. Michigan Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found Isiah Wright, 16, lying on the ground unconscious outside Eastport Elementary School, 1201 E. Michigan Blvd., with a gunshot wound.
Police said the victim was transported to Franciscan St. Anthony Health hospital in Michigan City where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy determined Wright died of multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso, according to the LaPorte County coroner's office.
