MICHIGAN CITY | The Michigan City High School Quiz Bowl Team won the 2013 Duneland Area Conference Quiz Bowl Tournament, which was held at Chesterton High School on Monday, March 11.
The Wolves defeated Valparaiso High School (50-31), Chesterton High School (53-46), and Portage High School (67-48) to bring home the championship.
The team ended its regular season with a 6-3 record, and will compete at the State Quiz Bowl Tournament at Lafayette Harrison High School on Saturday, March 16. This week, the team also progressed to the final rounds of the Lakeshore Public Television quiz show, "Making the Grade" (broadcast dates to be announced).
