MICHIGAN CITY | ZOOFARI is Washington Park Zoo’s wild night of family fun!

The event is from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday July 27 at the zoo, 115 Lake Shore Drive. The event includes up-close animal encounters and the chance to explore the zoo after normal hours.

Dinner and entertainment are included with the ticket price of $20 for an adult, $10 for kids 12 -3 years and under 2 are free.

Participants will be able to meet a macaw, baby goat, baby alligator, snakes, kinkajou and more. A buffet including fried chicken, sloppy Joe’s and hot dogs will be at 5 p.m. and a silent auction will run from 4:30 to 8 p.m.

Live entertainment will include DJ Mike Dempsey and magician Matt Kalita. There will be free door prize drawings for the kids and train rides.
