LAPORTE — The Healthcare Foundation of LaPorte will open the 2017 grant application cycle on June 16. HFL has budgeted $3.5 million for local organizations whose proposed programs and services empower residents to live healthy and well in and around LaPorte.
To prepare for this first year of grants, HFL will host two meetings to share information about the grant cycle timeline, the types of grants being offered and HFL’s three strategic focus areas. These sessions are an opportunity to share and discuss this information with the organizations that plan to apply for an HFL grant and address questions about the grant process.
The meetings will occur 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. June 15 and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. June 16 at the LaPorte County Public Library Main Branch, 904 Indiana Ave., LaPorte. Space is limited, so HFL requests that no more than two individuals per organization attend. RSVP at hfllaporte.org/grants.
