A person was taken to the hospital Friday night after a collision between a semitrailer and a car on the Indiana Toll Road in LaPorte County.
The crash occurred at 7:41 p.m. Friday, according to Indiana State Police. One of the occupants in the car was taken to Memorial Hospital of South Bend for treatment, police said.
Traffic in the westbound lanes of the Toll Road west of New Carlisle was stopped for a while as victims were treated by emergency personnel and Indiana State Police investigated.
