LAPORTE | Two men who robbed a gas station in LaCrosse at gunpoint are being sent to prison.

Joshua Riley, 26, was given a seven year prison term Friday in LaPorte Circuit Court while Michael Carlisle, 20, received a four year sentence earlier in the week.

According to court documents, the men held up Will's Service Center in April. A woman came out of the restroom to see her husband, who owns the station, being robbed of more than $600.

Police said a customer fueling up grabbed a gun from his vehicle in an effort to stop the men, who wound up leading police on a half-hour chase before being captured. According to police, both men were from Delaware but had been staying in LaCrosse for a while before the robbery.
