VALPARAISO | The sixth annual Mothers & More Kids Closet sale is almost here.
The sale, open to the public, offers more than 30 tables of gently worn, seasonal baby/children's clothes. The sale is from 8 a.m. to noon Oct.11 at the Butterfield Family Pavilion. There will be a preview sale open to the public from 8 to 10 a.m. with an admission fee of $2 per person. After 10 a.m. there is a $1 charger person. Kids younger than 18 are admitted for free.
Besides clothes the sale will also have baby equipment such as cribs, strollers, high chairs, etc. There also will be a bake sale and a 50/50 raffle.
This sale is the annual fundraiser for the Porter County chapter of Mothers & More.
"We are building on the success of previous year and will open at 8 a.m. again this year," said event chairperson Allison Kroft. "The opportunity allows for people to buy and sell both new and gently used children's clothing, gear, and toys."
Mothers & More serves more than 7,500 mothers in the U.S. and beyond. It is a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education, and advocacy. The local chapter serves Porter County.
