CROWN POINT | A second man has been charged in a shooting at the Tiberon Trails apartment complex in Calumet Township.

Terry Lamarr Earvin, 24, faces charges of attempted murder, aggravated battery and battery.

On July 2, Earvin and Raymon Lee Truitt approached a man sitting outside a building at the apartment complex, according to court records. The two began shooting at the man, who was wounded in the right thigh as he ran from the shooters, court records allege.

The man was taken to Methodist Hospitals Southlake Campus for treatment, police said.

Witnesses told police Earvin and Truitt fled the complex after the shooting. Truitt also has been charged with attempted murder in the shooting.
