KENTLAND | Two Kentland residents are being held at the Newton County Jail on charges related to the discovery of a meth  lab, police said early Monday.

The arrested were the culmination of a four-month investigation.

According to Kentland Police Chief Vince Lowe, the Newton County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant early Sunday at 308 N. Second St. Investigators found methamphetamine, several precursors to the manufacture of methamphetamine and an inactive methamphetamine lab were located in the garage, police said.

David Klahn, 33 and Jessica Dyer, 34, both of Kentland, were arrested on drug-related charges. Police said both are being held at the Newton County Jail without bond.
