Portage Pop Warner District Cheer and Dance Competition was held at LaPorte High School Oct. 18. Portage Jr. Midgets intermediate placed first out of six squads and Portage Jr. Pee Wees Novice place first out of 10 squads. Both teams will advance to Regionals in DeKalb, Ill on Nov. 15 where they'll compete to try to advance onto Nationals at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida
