MICHIGAN CITY | A Michigan City boy allegedly stabbed his twin brother while fighting over a burrito.
The mother of the boys told police Tuesday afternoon one of her 13-year-old sons tried stabbing his brother in the stomach with a fork.
The boy blocked the fork, which stuck into his arm.
Police said the woman told investigators the boys were arguing over a burrito and offered few other details, Michigan City Police Chief of Detectives Lt. Sue Harrison said.
"Just two brothers fighting. That's all it was," Harrison said.
The woman took her son to the hospital with a gash to his arm. Police transported her other son to the LaPorte County Juvenile Services Center for a misdemeanor battery charge.
