MICHIGAN CITY | The Purdue University North Central Sinai Forum will conclude its 59th season at 3 p.m. Dec. 2 at Elston Middle School in Michigan City with "Gordon Clapp IS Robert Frost" as this well-known actor portrays poet Robert Frost.
Clapp will transport the audience members to another time and place with poet Robert Frost as the guide.
Clapp earned a theater degree from William College and may be best known for his role as Greg Medavoy on television's "NYPD Blue." A stage and film actor, he is also a respected writer, producer and director.
He portrayed Chicago White Sox catcher Ray Schalk in the 1988 film "Eight Men Out." He appeared in "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine." On Broadway, he was in the revival of David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning play "Glengarry Glen Ross," earning him a nomination for a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play.
Season subscription tickets are $75 for regular tickets and $150 for patron tickets. Any student with a valid ID will be admitted free. Those purchasing patron tickets will have an opportunity to meet some of the speakers at a private reception.
