FRIDAY

Theft. Scotland, S.D. resident Stephanie Patocka reported $180 worth of items stolen from her vehicle on Moncrief Drive in the Valparaiso area.

Theft. Tower Road resident Lauren Ostrowski reported a $100 backpack and $400 sunglasses stolen from her vehicle.

SATURDAY

Theft. Hayes Leonard Road resident Kathleen Myers reported the theft of a 2001 Yamaha ATV from her front yard. The $2,400 ATV belongs to her nephew, Valparaiso resident Raymond Apking.

CHESTERTON

FRIDAY

Theft. Jackson Boulevard resident Paul Neely reported the theft of his $50 Able Disposal trash can.

Recovered property. Texas Street resident Kristi Brinkmann told police she awoke to find numerous items in her front yard, including a garage sale sign, promotional signs belonging to two companies, a trellis, an angel statue, a cherub statue, a bird house, solar lights and a recycling bin.

SATURDAY

Theft. Westchester Avenue resident Randall Reed reported a $700 mountain bicycle stolen from in front of his home.

SUNDAY

Theft. Sand Creek Country Club reported the theft of nine flags, 11 tee markers, two putting green flags and a laser link. The loss is $553.

FRIDAY

Theft. Griffith resident Daniel Przybyl reported $703 worth of tools stolen from his garage in the 200 block of Campbell Street in Valparaiso.

SATURDAY

Theft. Renee Razmus, of the 1800 block of Dainesway, reported a $335 digital camera stolen from her vehicle.

Theft. Rock Castle Park Drive resident Susan Townsend reported a $100 cellular phone stolen from her van.

Theft. Tuckahoe Park Drive resident Daniel Speckhard reported $10 in change stolen from two vehicles.
