Lakeshore Paws is holding a Cups & Pups event at Fluid Coffee Bar from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 17. Staff members from LSP will be showcasing puppies that are available for adoption.
This event invites the public to come pet a puppy and enjoy the atmosphere and beverages that Fluid Coffee Bar has to offer.
“I think the pet a puppy events are a great way for LSP to network and accept donations in a fun way that also allows people to get in touch about adoption,” said Ethan Scates, general manager of Fluid Coffee Bar. “It offers something that everyone loves, playing with puppies. It also helps LSP find great homes for some incredible dogs.”
The main objective of this event is to get dogs adopted, however, there are a few other elements at play as well.
“We do events that help raise money, get dogs adopted and to give us publicity to people that don’t know about us,” said Maddie Royter, office administrator and event coordinator of LSP.
LSP has most of their events throughout the summer time, but still participate in their mission during the winter season. Each of their events have had their own amount of success and around five to six dogs have been adopted because various events in the previous few months.
Although every dog stationed at LSP needs a home, the puppies have a higher chance of being adopted compared to other dogs.
“All of our puppies are adopted because of these events,” explained Royter.
