CHESTERTON | The AARP driver safety program will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 23 at Westchester Public Library, 200 W. Indiana Ave., in Thomas Library's Bertha Wood Room.

The program is designed for drivers 50 and older, but all ages are welcome. Attendees will learn the current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate vehicles more safely. Learn how to manage and accommodate common age-related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time.
Attendees will receive a certificate of completion that may be presented to their insurance agents for a possible reduction in insurance premiums.
