CHESTERTON | Jennifer Martin and the Chesterton Art Center will be presenting artwork created by the children's art classes starting with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
The exhibit will include work from children who have participated in the preschool and after school art program during the school year. The classes encompass children 3 to 16.
The theme of the exhibit is "Starry Night" and will include a collection of papier mache houses created to look like a village in France. Throughout the year, the kids have studied a different artist each month, creating projects that reflect the artist's style. Thus, the exhibit will include a wonderful collection of different mediums and subjects. Guests are welcome to view the exhibit from Sunday through the end of the month.
