Area blood drives:
• Noon to 6 p.m. Monday in the gymnasium at the First Presbyterian Church, 3401 N. Valparaiso St., Valparaiso. Come to donate and receive a Red Cross pin and a coupon for a free taco courtesy of Taco Bell.
• 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the YMCA, 1201 Cumberland Crossing Drive, Valparaiso. Come to donate and receive a Red Cross pin and a coupon for a free taco courtesy of Taco Bell.
• Noon to 6 p.m. Thursday in the meeting hall at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 106 E. County Road 1100 North, Chesterton. Come to donate and receive a Red Cross pin and a coupon for a free taco courtesy of Taco Bell.
• 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the small gymnasium at the Boys & Girls Club of Porter County – South Haven, 723 Long Run Road. Come to donate and receive a Red Cross pin.
• 3:15 to 7:15 p.m. March 11 in the purpose room/cafe at Willowcreek Middle School, 5962 Central Ave., Portage. Come to donate at this Pint Size Heroes blood drive and receive a Red Cross pin.
• 3 to 7 p.m. March 11 at Taco Bell, 2110 Morthland Drive, Valparaiso. Come to donate and receive a Red Cross pin and a coupon for a free taco courtesy of Taco Bell.
• 2 to 8 p.m. March 12 in the fitness center at Franciscan Omni Health & Fitness, 810 Michael Drive, Chesterton. Come to donate and receive a Red Cross pin and a coupon for a free taco courtesy of Taco Bell.
• 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 12 in the elementary gymnasium at Washington Township High School, 383 E. Ind. 2, Valparaiso. Come to donate and receive a Red Cross silicone wristband, a Red Cross pin and a coupon for a free taco courtesy of Taco Bell.
• 10 to 6 p.m. March 13 at Arnell Motors, 241 Melton Road in Burns Harbor. Come to donate and receive a Red Cross pin. Email rvenhuizen@arnellmotors.com to schedule a blood donation appointment.
• 3 to 7 p.m. March 14 in the auditorium at Benjamin Franklin Middle School, 605 Campbell St., in Valparaiso. Come to donate at this Pint Size Heroes blood drive and receive a Red Cross pin.
Also, the Merrillville Donor Center, 791 E. 83rd Ave., is open from 12:30 to 5 p.m. every Monday and from 8 a.m. until noon the first and third Saturdays of each month.
