CHS show choir invitational planned

CHESTERTON | On Saturday, the Chesterton High School Choral Department will host its inaugural show choir competition, the Chesterton High School Trojan Classic. There will be show choirs from across the Midwest competing for the honor to be crowned Grand Champions. Doors open at 8 a.m. The first group of performers will take the stage at 9:30 and groups will continue performing throughout the day. The evening round begins at 7 p.m. Both the CHS Drifters and Sandpipers will compete in an exhibition prior to both awards ceremonies. Tickets will be sold at the door and are priced as follows: Daytime round only-$10 or $7 for senior citizen; Evening round only-$8 or $5 for senior citizen; or All-Day pass $15 or $10 for senior citizen.
