FORT WAYNE | Three former Chesterton High School students have pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting an incapacitated woman at a party.
Austin Bower pleaded guilty to rape Friday in a court in Fort Wayne. Troy Turner pleaded guilty to sexual battery Tuesday. Alexander Beierwalter pleaded guilty to criminal deviate conduct in January.*
None of them have been sentenced.
All three were athletes at University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne. All three men are 23 and left the school in 2011.
WANE-TV and The Journal Gazette reported the victim told police in 2011 that Bower and two other men raped her after she drank vodka. Investigators found apparent photos of the assault on Bower's cellphone.
Bower and Beierwalter were on the football team at University of Saint Francis. Turner was a walk-on basketball player.
