CHESTERTON | Mara Wible will be teaching four different jewelry classes at the Chesterton Art Center in November. In Beginning Stringing, students will learn to create a bracelet using flexible beading wire, crimps and a crimping tool. The class will be offered 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 6. Cost is $20 for members of the Chesterton Art Center and $25 for nonmembers.
Basic Wire Loop Bracelet class will be offered 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 10 or 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 13. In this class, students will master wrapped loops as well as how to incorporate beads, chains and other findings. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers.
A Wrapped Cord Bracelet class will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 20. Students will learn a type of weaving called ladder stitch. The cost for the class is $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers.
Crochet with Wire Bracelet class will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 27. Students will learn how a basic crochet stitch is used to create a delicate piece of wearable art, which will result in something distinctively different every time. The cost is $20 for members and $25 for non-members.
