Seeking contestants for Miss Duneland pageants
CHESTERTON | Miss Duneland Scholarship Organization is accepting applications for young ladies to compete for scholarships and the titles of Miss Duneland and Miss Duneland's Outstanding Teen, preliminaries to the Miss Indiana and Miss America Organizations.
Young ladies between the ages of 17 (senior in high school) to 24 will compete for Miss Duneland and ages 13 to 17 (junior in high school) will compete for Miss Duneland's Outstanding Teen.
In addition, applications are being accepted for Miss Duneland's Outstanding Pre-Teen, ages 9 to 12, Little Miss Duneland, ages 5 to 8, and Miss Duneland Princesses, up to 12 years of age. The Miss Duneland pageant is open to young ladies who live, work or attend school in Indiana.
Miss Duneland competes in interview, talent, on-stage question, evening gown and swimsuit. All others will compete in interview, talent, on-stage question and sportswear. The Miss Duneland Princess Program is non-competitive.
All events will be March 3 and 4 at Queen of All Saints, in Michigan City. Miss Duneland's Outstanding Pre-Teen and Little Miss Duneland pageants will be March 3 and Miss Duneland, Miss Duneland's Outstanding Teen and Miss Duneland Princesses will be March 4.
All applications must be postmarked by Saturday.
