CHESTERTON | The Duneland Family YMCA will host its annual Sweetheart Dinner Dance Feb. 23 at Sand Creek Country Club.
The event will begin with cocktails at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7. Dinner music will be provided by a group of Chesterton High School freshmen. A DJ from Trans Audio Mobile Music will play dance music after dinner to get attendees moving both slow and fast to old favorites and the newest hits.
The Duneland Family YMCA is a charitable nonprofit focused on youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The cost to attend the dinner dance is $55 per person with all proceeds going toward building a better Duneland.
"The dinner dance is a great way to support the Y because anyone can do it," said Janna Mullen, Duneland YMCA Board of Directors President. "No matter if you are involved at the Y yet or not, you can treat yourself and your significant other to a beautiful evening with dinner and dancing at the exclusive Sand Creek Country Club while supporting the Y with your presence and your dollars."
Reservations can be made through Feb. 18 at the Duneland Family YMCA, 215 Roosevelt St., or by calling (219) 926-4204.
