I Can Do That! Art
I Can Do That! Art will continue from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday in March at Westchester Public Library. All ages are welcome, but parents are asked to accompany little ones. The program will take place in the Children’s Department at Thomas Library, 200 W. Indiana Ave., and is free of charge. Call (219) 926-7696.
Tax forms
CHESTERTON | IT-40 booklets (forms included) and basic federal forms (1040, 1040EZ and others) are available at Westchester Public Library free of charge. Polka Dot parties
CHESTERTON | Polka Dot Parties with Carol will continue at Westchester Public Library on two different days in March. Adults are invited to be creative at Thomas Library, 200 W. Indiana Ave., in the Bertha Wood meeting room. Registration for each program is required. Materials are provided by the library.
Pop Can Art is scheduled for two days: 9 a.m. to noon March 18 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. March 27. Call (219) 926-7696.
Pokemon League
There is still room in Westchester Public Library’s Pokémon League for children in first grade and above. Pokémon League is held 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays in the Children’s Department at Thomas Library, 200 W. Indiana Ave., through May 29. Registration is necessary. Decks are made up of three types of cards, Character, Energy, and Special. All three types of cards are needed to build a deck and to battle. Attendees will learn to make decks of 60 cards as they meet new friends. There is no need to bring anything, unless attendees want to bring a starter pack of cards. Beth Rutherford, mother of two sons who learned to battle and trade with their cards at a Pokémon League at the Plymouth Library, will lead the League. Call (219) 926-7696.
