CHESTERTON | The Chesterton High School Chapter of National Honor Society will welcome three seniors and 82 juniors into membership during the 66th annual induction ceremonies on Wednesday, April 3 at 7 p.m. at the Chesterton High School Auditorium.

The three seniors are Rachel L Kidder, Andrew Hall and Ellen Jackson. The 84 juniors are Bradley Adkins, Carolyn Arndt, Samantha Balon, Gena Banta-Long, Wendy Banta-Long, Claire Brady, Kaley Brown, Elizabeth Chandler, Adriene Church, Jessica Ciesielski, Kelsey Conway, Madisyn Coudriet, Lindsey Curdes, Meagan Curley, Patrick Curley, Addison Dempsay, Joshua DeVries, Nathan Dickinson, Amanda Gillespie, Allison Granat, Elizabeth Green, David Gutierrez, Aryn Havner, Ashley Hecimovich, Kristen Homme, Megan Homme, Andrew Hurst, Jessica Huseman, Kayla Jones, Edward Kaczmarek, Matthew Keator, Kevin Kenney, Jonathan Kindmark, Angelica Knopick, Rachel Konopacki, Jack Kurfman, Salman Lakhani, Jessica Lee, Corinne Leopold, Jocelyn Lipscomb, Matthew Lutze, Christopher Maatouk, Kristin Mabry, Jillian Malecki, John McCusker, Colin McEuen, Thomas McGue, Erin McNicholas, Natalie Melcher, Mikaela Meyer, Autumn Miller, Layla Mooradian, Benjamin Moy, Paige Nahod, Austin Norton, Courtney O’Keefe, Alisyn Ostrom, Matthew Petrovich, Blake Pieroni, Natalie Plesac, Jonah Pruitt, Caroline Puntillo, Claire Raffin, Andrew Ralph, Jessica Ratel-Khan, Natalie Richardson, Brandon Roeske, Matthew Rotundo, Corey Rusboldt, Hannah Sakelaris, Grant Schuster, Connor Smith, Katherine Smith, Erin Socha, Cole Teal, Taryn Trusty, Daniel Vincent, Malika Virk, Brent Vondra, Amanda Waltz, Ethan Whitaker and Mitchell Winey.

Opening remarks will be made by Principal Jim Goetz followed by the induction ceremony. The ceremony will highlight the cardinal principles of the National Honor Society-scholarship, leadership, service and character. Each new member will be individually recognized and presented with a membership certificate by Goetz. The NHS advisor is CHS science teacher Jack Neuliep.

All students invited to become members of National Honor Society have passed through a rigorous selection process that examines the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character. National Honor Society was created by and is under the direction of the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
