CHESTERTON | The Duneland Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an event geared towards Indiana entrepreneurs and business owners on Wednesday, March 27, from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm. To be held at the Hilton Garden Inn (501 N. Gateway Blvd., Chesterton), the luncheon will feature a keynote presentation by Elevate Ventures, a firm which specializes in providing assistance to emerging and existing Indiana-based companies.
Elevate Ventures (EV) provides up to $1 million in funding to Indiana-based companies, navigates clients through the SBIR and STTR grant process and establishes mutually beneficial partnerships with angel investors. In addition to funding mechanisms, EV provides experienced personnel and tested tools to help clients build and implement competitive business models.
“We’re very excited for our members to learn about the possibilities that exist to grow their businesses,” says Heather Ennis, the Chamber’s Executive Director. “At times, it can be difficult to filter through all of the information about business development, funding and strategic partnerships. This presentation by Elevate Ventures will provide an excellent starting point for those hoping to start or grow their Indiana-based businesses.”
Tickets to the luncheon are $12 for Chamber members ($14 if invoiced), and $14 for community members. The favor of an RSVP is requested by Monday, March 25. Please call the Chamber office at (219) 926-5513, visit www.dunelandchamber.org, or email info@dunelandchamber.org to register.
