CHESTERTON – Representatives from 11 local non-profit organizations will be partnering with the Duneland Chamber of Commerce this Thursday, August 1 for a “Get to Know Your Non-Profits” special event. The public is invited to attend this free, catered gathering, which will be held from 9am-10:30am at Riley’s Railhouse (123 4th Street in Chesterton). Each participating non-profit will give a brief overview of organizational services and needs. Attendees will be hearing from Best Buddies Pet Pantry, Boys & Girls Club of Porter County, Chesterton Art Center, Chesterton Duneland Kiwanis, Chesterton-Porter Rotary, Chesterton United Chesterton Church, Duneland Resale, NeighborLink Porter County, A Positive Approach to Teen Health, Reins of Life, and United Way of Porter County.
