CHESTERTON | The Association of Fund Raising Professionals, Indiana Northwest Chapter, will host its fifth annual National Philanthropy Day awards luncheon and program from 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 14 at Sand Creek Country Club, 1001 S. Clubhouse Drive.
The public is welcome. Tickets are $35 for AFP members and $50 for nonmembers and an RSVP is needed by Friday at http://nationalphilanthropydaynwi.eventbrite.com or to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Awards will be presented in three categories, individual, corporation and foundation. This year’s award winners have provided significant philanthropic support to regional not-for-profits. The 2013 Honorees are: Susan Cohen, Sojourner Truth House; Strack & VanTil Stores; and the Foundations of East Chicago.
AFP is the largest professional fundraising network in the world, with more than 30,000 members in 220 chapters. Cindy J. Hall, CFRE executive director of Resource Development for Ivy Tech Community College, is the president of the Indiana Northwest Chapter of AFP.
