Spaghetti dinner

HOBART | Trinity Lutheran School will host a spaghetti dinner from 2 to 6 p.m. at 891 S. Linda St. All proceeds go to Kids Against Hunger. The event is sponsored by Thrivent Financial. Tickets are available at the door and cost $8 for adults and $4 for ages 3 and younger. Call (219) 942-2589.

 

Polka Mass and Polish dinner

MICHIGAN CITY | St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church will host a Polka Mass, following which a Polish platter dinner will be served downstairs in the parish hall, 1506 Washington St. The menu includes Polish sausage, golobki (cabbage rolls), cheese pierogi, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, chicken and noodles, bread and butter, paczki and coffee. The Wesoly Lud Polish dance troupe will entertain following dinner, and there will be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. Taste of Lebanon

CHICAGO | Lebanon Lutheran Church will host Taste of Lebanon ethnic food fest from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, 13100 S. Manistee Ave. Enjoy a variety of homemade ethnic foods from around the world, including Italian, American (Southern), German, Polish, Mexican, Greek, Scandinavian and Irish. Pancake and sausage supper

Mardi Gras spaghetti feast

GRIFFITH | All are invited to a feast on the evening before the beginning of Lent organized by the Knights of Columbus. A Mardi Gras spaghetti feast will be served from 4 to 8 p.m. at 1400 S. Broad St. The Marquette Council will be serving spaghetti with meat sauce, tossed salad and garlic bread. Homemade desserts will complete the meal.
