CHESTERTON – Theresa Valade and her team at Valparaiso-based Success Trek, Inc. threw quite a party last Wednesday, March 13. To celebrate seven years of innovative business development and consulting, Valade and her team welcomed more than one hundred guests to enjoy beverages and appetizers at Riley’s Railhouse in historic downtown Chesterton.
To the backdrop of a crackling fireplace and frequent signs of commerce denoted by rumbling rail lines, the party’s guests traded memories and insights about their work with Valade over the past seven years – including how the founder of Success Trek, Inc. had helped them become better leaders within their own organizations.
“I’ve worked with Theresa in leadership development classes for many local organizations,” said David Hernandez of Ivy Tech’s Corporate College. “She’s incredibly effective. She’s extremely dynamic, and is always able to engage the groups in their own development. I can’t recommend her highly enough.”
Several guests provided video testimonials about their work with Valade, and Success Trek’s new branding campaign - “Clarity. Excellence. Results.” - was creatively displayed throughout the event. Event sponsors Marilyn’s Bakery and Strack & van Till provided dessert and hors d’oeuvres platters, while Liz Tilden from Pat’s Liquors poured samples of craft brews and wines.
