PORTER | A Porter man was arrested Saturday after police said he pulled a gun on four people who had confronted him about an earlier incident.
Adam Kris, 31, was charged with intimidation.
Police were called about 8:45 p.m. to Village Bar, 128 Lincoln St., where four people told police they were in an argument with Kris when he pulled out a pistol and waved it in the direction of the four.
He then left the area walking along railroad tracks.
An officer found Kris near the intersection of Porter Avenue and 23rd Street.
Kris was taken into custody and his gun was confiscated.
The four people told police they were talking to Kris at the bar about an incident that happened two months ago. The group left the bar, but kept questioning Kris about the previous incident. When they had crossed the street, the four said Kris pulled out a pistol, waved it at them and told them to leave him alone.
Police said Kris did not verbally threaten any of the four. He was charged with intimidation, which is a Class C felony. Police said he has a valid lifetime personal protection handgun permit.
