CHESTERTON – On Wednesday, January 8, the Duneland Chamber of Commerce invites Chamber members and their guests to kick off 2014 with an open networking event from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Val’s Famous Pizza & Grinders. Located at 112 S. 11th St., Val’s is one of Chesterton’s true “community restaurants” - owned and operated by lifelong resident of Chesterton Kevin Murray.
“We’ve all made New Year’s resolutions,” says Heather Ennis, the Chamber’s Executive Director. “And I’d bet that quite a few of us have resolved to become more involved in our community’s networking and social events this year. What’s great about this resolution is that it accomplishes two things at once: supporting local business while also raising awareness of our own organizations, projects and passions. We’re looking forward to gathering at Val’s next Wednesday to enjoy good conversation about what’s on everyone’s agenda for 2014. As an added bonus, we’ll enjoy some great food, as well!”
Those interested in attending this free networking event from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm on Wednesday, January 8 are encouraged to RSVP to the Duneland Chamber of Commerce via 219.926.5513 or email@example.com. Chamber member businesses interested in hosting an After Hours event in 2014 should contact the Chamber in short order, as the calendar is quickly being filled.
