CHESTERTON

MONDAY

Theft. Headlights were reported stolen from a new 2012 Buick Verano Connors Pontiac-Buick Inc., 701 E. Porter Ave. Each light is valued at $1,400. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $7,000.

PORTAGE

MONDAY

Theft. A GPS unit and cell phone were reported stolen from a car parked in the 6500 block of Monument.

 

VALPARAISO

MONDAY

Theft and vandalism. The manager of Menards, 351 Silhavy Road, reported the theft of copper wire and cable. Damage to a lumberyard fence was also reported.
