Empty bowls fundraiser planned

HEBRON | Hebron High School is hosting its fourth annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser with all of the profits going to the town’s food pantry, the Hebron County Pantry. The event is from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Hebron High School cafeteria.

Children 10 and under are $5 per ticket. All other tickets are $10. Admission includes a bowl of homemade chili, cornbread, dessert, drink, and your choice of a handmade ceramic bowl.

There will be a silent auction with many various items. One of these items is an autographed Chicago Bears picture. Some other items are homemade goods, a handmade quilt, and gift cards.

Students from the applied music class and choir classes will entertain those attending the event with their contest pieces and personal music choices.

After the chili dinner, the Hebron Boys basketball teams will be taking on Washington Township High School. The boys’ junior varsity game will start at 6. The varsity game will start at around 7:30 p.m.
