HEBRON | Every Child Ministries has been honored with a 2012 Top-Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, a provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations.

“We are excited to be named a Top-Rated 2012 Nonprofit,” says Lorella Rouster, international co-director for Every Child Ministries. "We are proud of our accomplishments this year, including the celebration of 10 years of ministry at Haven of Hope, our home for children in crisis in Ghana, the purchase of property for a rehab center to serve survivors of modern-day slavery, and the attainment of 2,728 Sunday schools established in Congo (cumulative total since our beginning).

The Top-Rated Nonprofit award was based on the large number of positive reviews that Every Child Ministries received – reviews written by volunteers, donors and clients. People posted their personal experience with the nonprofit.

For example, one person wrote: “Every Child Ministries uses every penny wisely, and once people get involved with them, they can see just how much they are really accomplishing for women, children, and families in Africa.”

Being on the Top-Rated List comes at an important time of the year, as donors look for causes to support during the holiday season.

"We are gratified by Every Child Ministries for its work,” said Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonprofits, "They deserve to be discovered by more donors and volunteers who are looking for a great nonprofit to support."

Every Child Ministries is a Christian mission that enables ordinary people to become advocates offering hope to child slaves, orphans, street children, child victims of prostitution, trafficked children, child soldier survivors and other war-affected children - all forgotten children of Africa, helping them rebuild their broken lives.

“At ECM, we believe every child is created in the image of God and is loved and treasured by Him," Rouster  said. "ECM empowers African children to overcome devastating obstacles so they can become champions of justice.”
