HEBRON | The Kankakee River Hunting Retriever Club is sponsoring a free waterfowl hunting clinic for youth 8 to 16 on Saturday at the Grand Kankakee Marsh County Park, 21690 Range Line Road. A day of fun and hands-on experiences is planned from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with lunch provided. Parents are encouraged to attend.

Activities at Youth Waterfowl Hunting 101 include: duck calling instruction, gun safety review, bird identification, decoy placement, tour of park and duck blinds, retriever demonstration and mock hunt test.
